About the Role

The Purchaser supports the efficient and compliant procurement of goods and services for ongoing projects. You will manage purchase orders, communicate with suppliers, and work closely with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase Orders & Administration

• Create, manage, and follow up on purchase orders (POs) in Xledger.

• Monitor and respond to emails in the shared procurement inbox.

• Ensure purchases follow internal procedures and approved budgets.

• Maintain accurate procurement data and track ongoing orders.

Supplier & Delivery Coordination

• Register and maintain supplier information in the procurement system.

• Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, deliveries, and order status.

• Monitor deliveries and confirm goods and services are provided as agreed.

• Support handling of discrepancies or delays together with internal teams.

Cost Control & Reporting

• Verify invoices against purchase orders in Xledger.

• Support tracking of procurement costs and identify deviations.

• Assist with basic procurement reporting and supplier follow-up.

Process Support

• Support improvements in procurement routines and workflows.

• Cooperate with internal departments to support purchasing and planning needs.

• Perform other related tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, administration, logistics, or similar role (experience in technical or project environments is an advantage).

• Familiarity with ERP systems (Xledger experience is a plus, but not required).

• Structured, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.

• Good communication skills in English (Nordic language skills are an advantage).

• Willingness to learn and develop within procurement processes.
