About the Role

The Purchaser plays a key role in ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. You will be responsible for managing purchase orders in Xledger, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting internal departments to ensure smooth delivery and cost control across projects.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase Orders & Administration

• Create, manage, and follow up on purchase orders (POs) in Xledger.

• Monitor and respond to emails in the shared procurement inbox

• Ensure all purchases comply with internal procedures and approved budgets.

• Maintain accurate procurement data and track ongoing orders.

Supplier & Delivery Management

• Register and maintain supplier information in the procurement system.

• Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, deliveries, and order status.

• Monitor deliveries and ensure goods and services are delivered according to agreements.

• Handle discrepancies, claims, and delays in cooperation with Workshops and internal teams.

Cost Control & Reporting

• Verify and approve invoices against purchase orders in Xledger.

• Monitor procurement costs and highlight deviations or savings opportunities.

• Assist in preparing basic procurement reports and supplier evaluations.

Process Support

• Support continuous improvement of procurement routines and workflows.

• Collaborate with internal departments to optimize purchasing and inventory planning.

Other relevant tasks may be assigned as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing or procurement (preferably within technical or project-based environments).

• Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with Xledger is an advantage).

• Structured, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple orders simultaneously.

• Good communication skills in English (Nordic language skills are an advantage).
