Job Description – Operational HR

Job Title:

Operational HR Advisor

Reports to:

HR Director

Purpose of the Role:

To support the organization with day-to-day operational HR follow-up, ensuring compliance with the Finnish laws and applicable collective agreements/CBA, while contributing to a safe and supportive workplace for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily HR support to employees and managers on operational matters.
• Ensure all HR processes are compliant with the Finnish laws and applicable collective agreement/CBA.
• Follow up on sick leave and absence in accordance with legal and company requirements.
• Handle employee relations cases in a professional and confidential manner.
• Maintain accurate HR records and data in relevant systems.
• Support recruitment processes, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Assist with employment contracts, salary adjustments, and absence management.
• Collaborate closely with safety representatives and the Shop steward.
• Ensure policies, procedures, and guidelines are implemented and followed throughout the organization.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through active communication and presence.

Qualifications:

• Degree in HR, labor law, or equivalent experience.
• Solid knowledge of the Finnish labor law and legislation and the applicable CBA
• Experience from operational HR work, preferably in a company with a collective agreement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Finnish and English.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a structured and efficient manner.
